A gentle giant with feathered legs, feet and fluffy feathers. Originally from India, the Light Brahma is known as a meat production bird, although the hens lay relatively decent and are great mothers. This fancy breed of chicken is tolerant to the cold, tame in nature, and very quiet. While not a top egg production layer, our farm does expect three or so medium-size brown eggs from this bird per week.
