Known as the “Dutch Everyday Layer”, the Golden Spangled Hamburg is petite and possesses enormous amounts of energy. This chicken is perfect for the track and has the ability to jump fences, out run its competition, and is a true high flyer. Their color is that of a golden/mahogany base with black dots giving them almost a polka-dotted appearance. They are easily spotted by visitors to the farm and often seen running freely. Although not the most lap friendly of chickens, the Golden Spangled Hamburg produces many small to medium sized white eggs. We are looking forward to a large harvest of white eggs from the Golden Spangled Hamburg at MGM Paso Finos LLC.
